About the role

As the General Manager of our second vertical, you drive the strategy, execution, and growth of a complete software ecosystem and new Artisan. This role requires a hands-on leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, ready to build and scale a team, oversee product development, and lead the go-to-market strategy. You will have full ownership of the new vertical's success, working closely with Artisan's leadership team to define its vision and bring it to life. This role is the opportunity to have an extraordinary impact and play a pivotal role in the shift to the next paradigm of software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a new AI Employee and SaaS ecosystem, from initial concept to full market launch.

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

  • Collaborate with product, AI, and engineering teams to create a world-class solution that solves real customer pain points.

  • Drive the product’s market positioning, launch strategy, and ongoing growth, ensuring alignment with Artisan’s overall mission.

  • Engage with customers and the broader market to gather feedback, iterate on the product, and ensure product-market fit.

  • Set and achieve financial targets, including revenue, profitability, and cost management for the new vertical.

  • Communicate product progress and milestones to the executive team, investors, and other key stakeholders.

  • Own full responsibility for your vertical’s P&L.

About You

  • You have a founder mode mindset, with experience building and scaling products or companies from zero to one.

  • You can think big-picture while also being detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pivot as needed.

  • You have deep experience in product development and market launch, ideally in AI, SaaS, or B2B environments.

  • You have experience recruiting and leading teams, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on results and innovation.

  • You know how to drive execution, delivering results quickly while balancing long-term goals and sustainability.

  • You're going to work long days to ensure the success of your vertical and will not give up.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, ideally with entrepreneurial or product management experience.

  • Proven track record of launching and scaling successful products or business units.

  • Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience managing P&Ls.

  • Deep understanding of SaaS, AI, or sales technology markets is a plus.

  • Ideally background as a successful founder or GM.
