The successful candidate has a blend of technical expertise, industry acumen, and outstanding communication skills to engage with prospective clients, understand their business needs and technical requirements, and effectively demonstrate how the SRM solution can address their specific challenges and optimize their supply chain management.

The SRM Pre Sales Leader will collaborate with partners and act as a technical expert to support the entire sales process. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical and you should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

We are looking for someone based in the Northeastern United States or Dallas, Texas (remote position).

Responsibilities:

  • Define the technology vision for our customer and partner’s projects related to SRM.
  • Build and nurture strong relationship with potential partners for sales and delivery activities.
  • Identify and develop the partner ecosystem.
  • Build the pre sales team focused on the SRM initiative.
  • Plan and execute technology development projects in collaboration with Samsung SDS America, Samsung SDS HQ, Samsung affiliates, partners and customers.
  • Articulate technical concepts to all audiences, including C-level executives and customers.
  • Oversee complex technical discussions with customers for both pre-sales and post-sales support related to our SRM SaaS solution.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements, scope projects and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the implementation of the projects and ensure technical support during and after the implementation.
  • Own each technical engagement, and ensure a timely and successful delivery of projects to end customers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understating the customer’s long term goals.
  • Engage in marketing campaigns and industry events.

Domestic and International travel expected: 20-50% of the time as needed for meetings with headquarters, customers, and team or industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering preferred or related degree required
  • +8 years of SaaS sales experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles within the SCM or SRM space.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with Global Supplier Relationship Management Solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with pre sales and customer project delivery for Global Supplier Relationship Management Solutions.
  • Strong knowledge in the end to end of the direct procurement process, indirect procurement process knowledge is not required but nice to have.
  • Strong background in business applications, preferably SCM and SRM.
  • Strong knowledge of the supplier management, procurement processes, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills, including effective oral and written communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas in a simple and understandable manner.
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to build clear observations, analysis and conclusions based on customer interviews and data.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
