Support Analyst - Senior

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides end user support using pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of complex, unstructured and non-standard requests and issues under minimal guidance. 
  • Works collaboratively with technical and business team members to conduct problem research, root cause analysis and issue resolution. 
  • Provides explanations and information to others on the most difficult issues. 
  • Assists in the planning of application upgrades and installation of new releases. 
  • Maintains working knowledge of applications within their domain. 
  • Acts as a resource for others with less experience. 
  • Coaches, provides feedback and guides others.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex IT problems, 
  • Managing and maintaining IT systems and equipment, and ensuring that they're up-to-date and secure
  • Providing technical support to system users and customer support staff
  • Assessing user needs
  • Defining technical problems
  • Collaborating with engineering/development staff to determine solutions 
  • Developing checklists for reoccurring problems
  • Developing recommendations for procedures to prevent problems
  • Evaluating and resolving complex problems that arise
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • DevOps experience

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience required.
  • Requires Experience implementing or supporting applications. Ex. ERP, HR payroll Finance.
  • Requires experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Vizio, Word).
  • Requires experience facilitating/ leading requirement gathering sessions.
