Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve Anthropic’s overall and project-specific financial models and forecasting tools;
- Work cross-functionally to develop meaningful key performance indicators and ways to communicate them to decision makers at the highest levels of the company;
- Implement improvements to existing budgeting, variance analysis, and continuous planning processes with an emphasis on automation and scalability;
- Lead ad hoc analyses of financial, operational, and commercial data to evaluate effectiveness of ongoing and future potential projects;
- Prepare regular updates for internal teams, management, the board, investors, and other stakeholders;
- Provide insight and support for critically important projects such as fundraisings and major contract negotiations; and
- Oversee the work of and manage Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting or related field plus 3 years of strategic finance or FP&A at a leading technology company, or technology-focused IB, ER/CR, VC, or PE.
- Prior experience must include: 3 years of experience in advanced financial modeling and valuation techniques; 3 years of experience in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets; 3 years of experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Google Slides; and 1 year of experience in overseeing and managing at least one junior team member.
- Must successfully complete competency-based interview.
Annual Salary
- The expected annual salary for this role is $185k to $250k.
- Actual salary will be based on a variety of job-related factors, including skills, education, and experience.
