This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of hardworking and diverse teams of specialists, you will be responsible for creating, analyzing, and communicating detailed production schedules using industry‐standard scheduling software. You’ll collaborate with Manufacturing Leaders, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production Control to ensure all work is efficiently planned—with risks identified and mitigated. This is a pooling requisition for current and anticipated openings across multiple Lunar teams and shifts. Candidates will be matched to the right roles as needs are identified.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules and manufacturing plans aligned to program demands, labor and machine resource availability, and expected make/buy lead times.
- Manage schedules for multiple programs; provide detailed schedule information to Production Control to ensure target completion dates sync with actual work center capacities and capabilities.
- Evaluate product scope and develop tactical schedules with MS Project or Primavera P6.
- Analyze and resolve schedule recovery scenarios, leveraging forward and reverse scheduling methods.
- Determine manufacturing shop floor needs and constraints; schedule work accordingly.
- Coordinate cross-functional activity with Program Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure production and customer specifications are accurate and timely.
- Monitor schedule status and provide regular updates to management.
- Update visual management boards with current job/program status.
- Perform schedule and scope variance analysis; review MRR, MRP, and MES execution.
- Solve problems of diverse scope requiring evaluation and judgment.
- Mentor and assist other planners, as appropriate.
Team Focus & Domain Expertise:
Lunar Core Components/ZBO Module | Support the development and maintenance of Core Components/ZBO Module production build plans. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control, Manufacturing Managers, Operations' Vehicle Leaders, and the Core Components/ZBO program office.
Lunar MK2 and Transporter Module | Support the development and maintenance of MK2 and Transporter Module production build plans. Work together with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control, Manufacturing Managers, Operations' Vehicle Leaders, and the MK2 and Transporter program office.
Factory Utilization – Lunar Plant 1 and Lunar Plant 2 | Oversee facility/utilization scheduling for Lunar Plant 1 and Lunar Plant 2. Partner with Factory Integrators and support requests from other programs and product lines for Lunar Factory access.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Production Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- For Lunar Core/ZBO and Lunar MK2/Transporter: 1-3 years recent production control planning and scheduling experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred.
- For Factory Utilization: Minimum 5 years recent production control planning and scheduling experience within aerospace manufacturing preferred.
- Experience creating and maintaining schedules using CPM methodology in MS Project or Primavera P6.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents (including blueprints and schematics).
- Able to work full time schedule—including occasional travel, overtime, or on-call work.
