Requirements

Role: Property Maintenance Technician

Status: Full-Time, Year-Round, Hourly

Schedule: 8 10-hour shifts, followed by 6 days off in a row.

Reporting To: Property Maintenance Manager


 

Role Responsibilities:  

  • Possess a strong team-oriented work ethic but also the ability to work individually in order to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Follow direction from Management team and complete tasks by deadline.
  • Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, gas, fireplaces, and painting repairs as necessary under Leadership guidance
  • Maintain inventory and be aware of equipment that requires repairs as well as associated supplies that may be required.
  • Perform Property inspections and follow oversight of team Lead/Manager to ensure quality and high standards are met.
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
  • Use of personal phone for calls, photos, checking email and documents.
  • Maintenance skills such as but not limited to: basic carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, roofing, electrical, HVAC, etc.
  • Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including power tools, voltmeters, grinders, ladders, saws, snow blowers, lawn mowers and hand tools etc.
  • Report all major repairs and requisitions to manager prior to any expenditure of funds
  • Work with vendors, contractors, etc. to coordinate tasks, duties, deliveries, etc.
  • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws; e.g., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures and utilize time efficiently.
  • Ability to perform minor, as well as routine maintenance Powder Mountain and Powder Haven properties .
  • Inspect and maintain all tool used for position, fix or re-order if needed.
  • Follow a "safety first" attitude as well as help team members follow best practice policies and procedures.
  • Perform other maintenance duties as requested.

Job Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Have a reliable transportation, Driver’s License and submit a Motor Vehicle Record
  • Available to work early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Available to work peak season shift schedule - 8 days in a row, followed by 6 days off.
