Join Cooper Aerobics as a Retail Lead and Inventory Specialist at The Coop, where we offer Cooper apparel, activeware, boutique clothing and accessories, fitness and nutritional products. This role is part of a 3-person Leads team. The Retail Lead's responsibilities include working in-store, building strong client relationships, training staff on service and merchandise knowledge and ensuring the store is properly staffed and well merchandised at all times. In addition to functioning as a retail lead, this person functions as an inventory specialist ensuring all orders are promptly entered into necessary platforms, purchase orders are created and merchandise is checked-in, tagged and floor ready within the proper time frame. 

Full-time: hybrid schedule; ability to work weekends as assigned

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Meet monthly retail sales goals

· Develop strong, service-focused relationships with clients

· Develop a strong, educated and trained sales team

· Develop good relationships with vendor/designer counterparts

· Enter and/or sync orders to/from JOOR, NuOrder, Shipify, FAVES and other platforms

· Prepare tags 

· Check deliveries and report damages / short shipments to vendors when products are missing or damaged

· Evaluate and manage stock rotation procedures

· Maintain inventory storage space in the store's inventory closets

· Train store staff in proper checking and tagging procedures

· Place assigned inventory restock orders

· Communicate with store management about any inventory issues

· Be a team player and perform additional duties as needed

· Attend departmental and company-wide meetings

· Fill in for other program functions when necessary

· Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be required

Requirements

The ideal Retail Sales Lead candidate should possess:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· A minimum of three years experience in retail

· Proven work experience with inventory management or similar duties

· Working knowledge of Shopify, point of sale systems and spreadsheet software

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills

· Positive attitude and an ability to be flexible

· Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team

· Enjoy engaging with people

· Ability to maintain professional, calm and positive demeanor in the face of difficulty
