Material Handler/Forklift Operator/Truck to Truck Tech

Shift: Day Shift
Pay: $20 - $22/hour

Position Summary
The Material Handler/Forklift Operator/Truck to Truck Tech role is responsible for safely offloading, palletizing, and reloading materials using a forklift, coordinating transportation between hubs, plants, and outbound destinations, and maintaining compliance with storage permits.

Key Responsibilities

• Offload, palletize, and reload materials using a forklift.
• Coordinate shipments between facilities and outbound destinations.
• Dispatch transportation from hubs and maintain an efficient transport schedule.
• Track and manage the timeline for manifest returns.
• Maintain the Hub Database, including Outlook and Hub Management.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in Windows-based applications.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb on/off forklifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good hand/eye coordination and depth perception.
• Physical fitness (must be able to perform 10 push-ups, deep knee squats, and sit-ups).
• Ability to move drums weighing up to 800 lbs with a drum dolly and flex bins up to 1500 lbs with a pallet jack.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ months of equipment operating experience.
• Experience with excavators or haul trucks is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
