Lead Enterprise Architect

Definitive Logic is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect (EA) to support our DoD customers. We are looking for a technical leader who can work with our customers and implementation teams. Our ideal candidate will have experience with multiple languages, deployment models, and Commercial Off the Self (COTS) software systems. 

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining Enterprise Architecture
• Extensive experience in architecture design and development.
• Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles.
• In-depth understanding of cloud-based technologies.
• Experience leading technical efforts to modernize legacy architecture.
• Experience leading technical efforts to migrate from on-premise to the cloud.
• Experience working with agile and DevSecOps teams.
• Provide expert oversight in the ongoing maintenance, quality assurance and processes employed in the development and maintenance
• Familiarity with industry best practices and standards.
• Experience with industry standard architecture tools
• Knowledge of the Air Force's Enterprise Information Systems
• Experience using Enterprise Architecture data in support of IT Portfolio Management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently.
• Leadership skills to motivate and mentor team members.
• Eligible to obtain SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, S/W Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar

Desired Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining Enterprise Architecture
• Experience within the Air Force or Department of Defense (DoD)
• Experience with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
• Expert-level skills and multiple years of customer project experience using Enterprise Architecture data in support of IT Portfolio Management and strategic planning
• Knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
• AWS Professional level certification or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• Current SECRET clearance 
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, S/W Engineering, Computer Engineering
