The opportunity
The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 9-Friday, August 8, 2025. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week.
The Endocrine Clinic is an outpatient/ambulatory setting. Patients attend medical, nurse, nutrition, and social work appointments for a variety of endocrine diagnosis including diabetes.
What you’ll do
The college COACH Intern would be an upper-level nursing major who has completed a medical-surgical clinical rotation or is a certified nursing assistant. This Intern would assist with:
Vital signs POCT (fingersticks to assess HgbA1C)
Download diabetes technology and room patients.
Opportunity to shadow the nurses to watch teaching sessions.
Position is Fully on-site

Who you are
You are an undergraduate college student interested in working in healthcare.
Ability to perform vital signs.
CPR certified.
Completion of a college clinical rotation that required taking vital signs.
