Environmental Scientist

A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc., (AMT) an employee-owned consultant engineering firm, Engineering News Record Top 500 firm and a Zweig White Hot Firm, provides multidisciplinary services including engineering, environmental, landscape architecture, surveying and construction administration and inspection. AMT is growing and is seeking a highly motivated and talented Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental and Water Resources group to provide project support for our growing environmental compliance team. 

Responsibilities

• Serving as part of team conducting construction site inspections and report writing,
• GIS project support, conducting stormwater technology research, erosion and sediment control and stormwater management regulatory compliance
• Other environmental and water resources project support as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field required
• 1+ year experience in Environmental Science Field
• Strong GIS and/or DEQ ESC
• SWM certifications preferred
