Job Description

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a financial institution setting. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and support a culture of teamwork and integrity. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents as required by site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to maintain order within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
