We have an exciting remote opportunity for a highly motivated Associate Director, Intangible Transfers and Automated Export Compliance System (AECS) to join our team!
What you Will Do
This role will report to the Director, Intangible Transfers and AECS and will:
- Lead the development of enhanced processes to identify and appropriately assess DT projects to
ensure their compliance with GT requirements;
ensure their integration into Pratt’s existing AECS; and
progresses Pratt towards scalable automated compliance systems necessary to ebabling Pratt’s long term business objectives.
- Lead a team of professionals assessing DT applications and engaging with business leaders when disconnects are identified between the priorities of individual projects and Pratt’s long term business and compliance objectives.
- Bring visibility and enhanced rigor to processes through which intangible transfers of technical data are effected.
- Play a lead role in supporting PW’s Automated Export Compliance System (AECS) value stream in the RTX Consent Agreement.
- Strengthen and maintain rigorous requirements for tools, systems and activities through which intangible transfers of data may be executed.
- Oversee the strengthening, development and maintenance of Pratt’s inventory of tools, systems and activities through which intangible transfers of technical data are effected and assessing their sufficiency against GT requirements.
- Strengthen/develop the process for GT approval of DT projects in a manner that advances the development of Pratt’s AECS and the adoption of Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) systems.
- Oversee the DT project approval process in a manner that safeguards compliance and, at a minimum, appropriately integrates DT projects into AECS systems of record while focusing team resources on value added projects advancing Pratt’s AECS towards the adoption of ABAC systems.
- Ensure the Global Trade Leadership Team and project manager are informed of, and can plan and track milestones for, implementing multiple RTX and business compliance system initiatives.
- Participate as appropriate in Corporate global trade export compliance systems initiatives to understand P&W actions, which may include updates to the existing compliance systems and/or new tool implementation.
- Engage and collaborate with leaders across P&W and Corporate on key Global Trade and compliance system initiatives.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders, assisting when critical system and tool issues are escalated, removing barriers.
- Proactively identify and address risks and develop solutions to problems which require critical thinking, creativity, and innovation.
- Must be able to travel between P&W sites in support of project needs. Travel 10% of the time.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 12 years of experience in roles engaging compliance with the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations using automated export compliance tools such as classification software, SAP-GTS, etc; OR
