Our work depends on a Senior DevOps Engineer joining our team to support our intel customer in Springfield, VA or St Louis, MO.<br/><br/><b>HOW A SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT</b></span></p><p><br/><span>A Senior DevOps Engineer will drive faster, more reliable software delivery by strengthening the practices, automation and operational discipline that helps teams ship with confidence.  This role will bridge development and operations to remove friction, improve collaboration, and ensure releases reach users with less disruption and greater consistency.  In addition, the position will enhance observability, monitoring, and incident response to accelerate issue detection and recovery, while also improving system configuration management and documentation to support scalability, resilience, and long-term operational excellence.<br/><br/><u>Job Duties:</u></span></p><ul><li><span>Configure CI/CD for multiple web applications</span></li><li><span>Take source code, dependencies to perform application builds</span></li><li><span>Perform automated testing and security scans</span></li><li><span>Deploy to multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Operations)</span></li><li><span>Responsible for Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management</span></li><li><span>Author helm charts to deploy resources to OpenShift</span></li><li><span>Manage and document system security, by performing software updates in response to scan findings, document system, architecture to demonstrate security compliance</span></li><li><span>In-depth knowledge, principles, and methods of enterprise solutions.</span></li><li><span>Eight years of experience designing and implementing complex systems in a classified environment. Experience developing strategic system architecture plans.</span></li><li><span>Experience in system and network creation and development.</span></li><li><span>Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best <span>practices.  </span> </span></li><li><span>Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide cloud solutions and/or applications software</span></li><li><span>Designs, develops, codes, tests and debugs highly complex new software products or makes significant enhancements to existing software.</span></li><li><span>Develops and applies advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems.</span></li><li><span>Resolves highly complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.</span></li><li><span>Conducts investigations and tests of considerable complexity.</span></li><li><span>Factors emerging technologies and product supportability into design and implementation.</span></li><li><span>Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.</span></li><li><span>Advises hardware engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems, such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements.</span></li><li><span>Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress, and presents results to management and/or customer personnel.</span></li></ul><p><br/><br/><span><b>WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:</b><br/><b><span>Skills/Qualifications:</span></b></span><br/> </p><p><span><u>Required:</u></span></p><ul><li><span>Minimum 6+ years of directly related experience</span></li><li><span>Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major, or 2 additional years of experience in information technology</span></li><li><span>Proficiency with Linux operating systems</span></li><li><span>Working experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar)</span></li>
