This is a rare opportunity to join the Carrier team as a direct hire.  As a Warehouse Operator you will be responsible for supporting the materials operation in a distribution environment.  This position works Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm with overtime. Schedule may change based off of business conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment

  • Support the picking/packing, loading/unloading and general warehousing duties

  • Understand method of locating materials

  • Read a packing list and follow defined shipping/receiving protocols

  • Record turn back’s

  • Process rework work orders/purchase orders

  • Perform and reconcile cycle counts, relentless root cause analysis

  • Recommend improvements consistently striving for efficient and effective methodologies and maintain departmental quality standards

  • Execute JDE transactions relative to your area of responsibility

  • Perform 5S

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ years of experience with continuous improvement methodologies

  • Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 35lbs.

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified PIV Driver

  • Experience in a high volume, high complexity, distribution environment

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
