Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent; 3 years related experience. 

 

Job Description:

To manage activities for a project or program.

 

Job Duties:
•Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of a program directly related to management or general business operation
•Track/verify/post assignments or assignment-related items including grades, clinical assignments; contact/communicate with sites/students; credential students; confirm licensure of preceptors; and work on other tasks associated with the management of the clinical year 
•Prepare, follow-up, execute, and track affiliation agreements for all active and potential UTMB PA program clinical year sites in a timely manner
•Gather data for review and analysis of clinical year program and outcomes
•Adhere to internal controls established for the department and university on the clinical year by accrediting, licensing and other agencies or institutions
•Type, copy, file departmental correspondence, tests, syllabi, reports, summaries, etc.
•Assist in management of the program’s website and handbooks
•Assist supervisor in carrying out routine office duties and other activities related to the program, as needed
•Insures the goals and objectives specified are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, deadlines and funding conditions
•Provides technical advice to assist in solving problems
•Serves as resource and subject matter expert
•Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure
•Performs related duties as required.

Standard office equipment.
 

 

Working Environment/Location of Position:
Standard hospital, clinical and/or office environment.

Salary Range:  Actual salary commensurate with experience or range if discussed and approved by hiring authority.
