JOB PURPOSE

The Liquids & Capsules Home Care team is based in Port Sunlight and develops exciting product innovations central to our Clean Future agenda. It is a fast-paced category with a truly exciting transformational agenda and vision for future growth.
The Technical Program Leader will be central to the growth ambition of the category, leading the development of our Big Bet innovations for global launch and driving category premiumisation. You will have responsibility for creating unmissably superior products and as well as building the future roadmap for this important format. Working cross functionally, you will deliver desirable products for innovation launches globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Core member of the global Liquids & Capsules Homecare Innovation leadership team.
- Partner with Brand, and Supply Chain as TPL to deliver innovations.
- Work with global R&D partners within Business Units to deliver and support innovation.
- Work with external partners to bring in new technology to support product development.
- Build the digital capability and domain expertise for the format.
- Develop a strong culture and capability for design led innovation within your program.
- Line management of technical team based in Port Sunlight.

Key Skills:
- Project Leadership and stakeholder management.
- Significant experience and expertise in formulation and product development.
- Analytical capability and comfortable with digital approaches to research.
- High level of interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work across teams and cultures in a collaborative way.
- Passion for learning and passion for championing well-being in the workplace.
Relevant Experience:
- Physical or material science degree with industrial experience.
- Experience in product and technology development.
- Experience of working within multi-disciplinary environment.
- Experience in management of external programs and partnerships is preferred.
- Knowledge of Home Care products/category would be an advantage.
