Hourly Full-Time Role:
8:00a-5:00p; 5 days/week

The Job You Will Perform:

Serve as the liaison between the physician and patient
Responsible for answering phones, determining the nature/priority of the call and appropriate routing/taking messages
Verify patient insurance benefits, obtain and register accurate demographics and schedule patient appointments in the scheduling system
Manage and fulfill medical record requests
Perform administrative functions, such as but not limited to: scanning, faxing, answering emails, etc.
Has the ability to cross train to assist other CCMH clinics (may travel to Carrollton or Bedford Clinics) when needed

The Qualifications, Skills and/or Knowledge You Bring:

Uphold HIPPA in regard to patient information
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
Computer literacy (MS Office, Windows, etc.)
Experience using EPIC systems (preferred)
Experience using iSalus systems (preferred)
Prior medical receptionist experience (preferred)
Knowledge of different insurance plans (preferred)
