U.S. Bank is seeking the full-time position of Lead Software Engineer (Multiple openings) in Horsham, PA.

Essential Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough analysis of business processes to identify and ascertain needs and requirements in software applications and ensure that the best applications are designed and developed in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and other business requirements. Specific duties include:

  • architect applications using Reactive principles, write code that leverages reactive programming, and use Spring Security, Spring Web flux, and Kafka to handle asynchronous data streams;
  • design and develop in-house solutions for real time data publishers that abstracts technology complexities and enhances the reusability of existing technologies;
  • develop high-quality code that aligns with Agile requirements and best practices;
  • work on the security features of systems using Spring Security (SSL/TSL/MTLS/X509/JWT), and develop into proper certificate management, including renewals and automation;
  • support multiple device data exchange large datasets in JSON and implement efficient data parsing strategies to process incoming data streams in real-time;
  • develop APIs using Java 17 or 21, Spring Boot, Spring Boot Microservices, Spring Cloud, Apache, Kafka, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring Rest, Spring Data Redis, Spark technologies, Hibernate, F5, MongoDB, Cassandra, H2, and PostgreSQL;
  • design and develop self-service developer portal for metadata driven low/no code using React, HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap, JSON, and Java Script;
  • use cloud native techniques to automate build and deployment process using Jenkins, GIT, Maven, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, Tomcat, Netty Server, Azure, and AWS;
  • deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes Manifest and Helm charts and configure Kubernetes resources;
  • follow test-driven development (TDD) process and automate unit and integration testing using Junit, Mockito, Karate, Selenium, and Shell Script;
  • use Microservice based architecture and spring cloud techniques to provide security, interoperability, resilience, scalability, and maintainability; and
  • collaborate with the team to define sprint goals and plan tasks for upcoming sprints.
  • Uses the following tools and technologies: Java 17 or 21, Spring Boot, Spring Boot Microservices, Spring Cloud, Apache, Kafka, Spring Security (SSL/TSL/MTLS/X509/JWT), Spring Data JPA, Spring Rest, Spring Data Redis, Spring Web flux, Reactive Kafka, Spark, Hibernate, MongoDB, Cassandra, H2, PostgreSQL, React, HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap, JSON, Java Script, XML, HTML, Junit, Mockito, Karate, Selenium, Shell Script, Jenkins, GIT, Maven, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, TDD, Microservice Tomcat, Netty Server, Azure, AWS, F5, STS, MAC, Windows, Linux.

Multiple positions available.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, and 5 years of (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in a software developer or engineer occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:
 

Must also have 60 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Design and develop in-house application solutions for real time data publishers. 2) Work on system security features using Spring Security (SSL/TSL/MTLS/X509/JWT) and develop proper certification management. 3) Architect applications and write codes using Reactive principles and Spring Security, and handle asynchronous data streams, using Spring Web flux and Reactive Kafka. 4) Design and develop self-service developer portal using React, HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap, JSON, and Java Script. 5) Follow test-driven development (TDD) process and automate and perform unit and integration testing using Junit, Mockito, Karate, and Selenium Script. 6) Use Microservice based architecture and Spring cloud techniques. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.

Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $146,078 - $176,100. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).<
