IT Intern- Part-time

Location: Brentwood, TN

Part-time, 24 hours/week 

Salary: up to $28/hr 

IT Intern Position Summary: 

The IT Intern will support various aspects of our IT operations, with a focus on assisting the IT Help Desk and Security team. This role will involve tasks such as handling hardware logistics, provisioning devices, collecting key evidence for compliance audits, and monitoring routine security training metrics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with shipping and receiving end-user hardware, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation
• Support the provisioning of devices for end-users, including laptops and tablets
• Collaborate with the security team to collect key evidence for ongoing compliance audits
• Aid in routine metrics monitoring related to IT security

Requirements

Education:

• Current enrollment in a college program pursuing a degree in an IT-related field

Experience: 

• Basic understanding of IT hardware and software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic IT department
