As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver direct and indirect holistic care, collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and support patients and families through critical moments. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision‑making, and a commitment to safe, high‑quality patient care.

As a Level III Trauma Center and Stroke Center of Excellence, this is where skilled nurses thrive, sharpen their instincts, and make an immediate impact.
Across 44 beds, you’ll join a tight, highly coordinated team that’s ready for anything from trauma cases to critical medical crises. With flexible scheduling, varied shift lengths, and a tailored 6–12 week orientation, you’ll grow quickly while feeling supported from day one.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing patient and family assessments; document per TriHealth standards.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care.
- Provide safe, therapeutic nursing care while maintaining dignity and autonomy.
- Recognize and respond to emergency and rapidly changing clinical situations.
- Communicate effectively with providers and the care team.
- Complete all assigned patient care and documentation within required timeframes.
- Serve as a resource by sharing clinical knowledge and assisting with staff development.
Qualifications
Required
- Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- BSN required within 5 years of hire.
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers.
- Strong foundation in biological, physical, behavioral, and social nursing sciences.
Preferred
- More than 1 year full‑time or 2 years part‑time acute care experience.
- Membership in related professional organizations.
- Specialty certification (e.g., CEN, TNCC).
Schedule & Work Location
- FTE: Full‑Time - 36 Hours Weekly
- Shift: Days - 7:00am-7:00pm
- Hospital: Bethesda North Hospital (Emergency Department)
- Work Environment: On‑site, high‑acuity emergency care setting
