Cybersecurity Engineer

Role Overview

Hitachi Digital Services is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the deployment, administration, and optimization of enterprise security technologies across endpoint, network, cloud, identity, and security operations environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise security tools and platforms.
• Support vulnerability management, security assessments, and remediation activities.
• Configure security policies, dashboards, alerts, and reporting.
• Support cloud, endpoint, network, and identity security technologies.
• Assist with security tool integrations, automation, and platform upgrades.
• Develop operational procedures and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, Vulnerability Management, or Security Operations.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:

Security Technologies

• Endpoint Security / EDR/XDR: Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Cortex XDR
• Vulnerability Management: Tenable, Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7
• SIEM / SOAR: Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, XSOAR
• Network Security: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
• Identity Security: Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, MFA, PAM, RBAC
• Cloud Security: Azure, AWS, GCP
• Automation: PowerShell, Python, APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with security tool implementation and integration.
• Familiarity with cloud-native and hybrid environments.
• Exposure to AI-enabled security tools such as Microsoft Security Copilot.
• Understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
