Hard Surface Shipping - Lift Truck Operator (Heavy Lifting)

Stanton is looking for a 1st Shift - Hard Surface Shipping - Lift Truck Operator to join our Hard Surface Shipping team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our flooring products reach our customers efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for loading, staging, and shipping orders for a variety of hard surface materials, including luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, and hardwood flooring.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately read and fulfill customer orders by loading cartons of flooring and trim onto pallets. This requires repetitive lifting and stacking (50lbs+)
• Safely and proficiently operate a lift truck.
• Work effectively with team members to meet shipping deadlines and maintain a smooth workflow.
• Help in packing and strapping loaded pallets for safe transfer.
• Load completed orders onto trailers for shipment.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures at all times.
• Assist with other warehouse and shipping tasks as needed to support department goals

Qualifications:
• Ability to repeatedly lift and load heavy cartons. (50lbs+)
• Ability to read and interpret order sheets accurately.
• Proficiency in operating a lift truck.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment that can be hot.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Commitment to following safety protocols.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional overtime.
