Ambo Properties is expanding its Centralized Services Team to support property operations across our portfolio. As part of this growth, we are hiring a Centralized Application Specialist to manage application-related workflows at scale.
Role Overview
The Centralized Application Specialist is a high-focus, high-volume role responsible for managing resident application processing across multiple properties. This position is task-specialized—dedicated exclusively to application intake, review, follow-up, and system accuracy.
This role operates within a centralized, shared-services model and is not a property-level position. Accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and strong communication are critical to success.
Primary Responsibilities
Application Management (Core Function)

Manage and process resident applications for multiple properties in OneSite.

Review applications for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation.

Follow up with applicants and site teams to resolve missing or incorrect information.

Ensure applications align with company policies, affordable housing requirements, and compliance standards.

Track application status, outcomes, and timelines to ensure timely progression.
Communication & Coordination

Serve as a primary point of contact for applicants regarding application-related questions.

Proactively follow up on applications and outstanding requirements by answering and returning phone calls and responding to emails within defined timeframes. This role is resident- and site-facing and requires consistent, professional phone communication.
Systems & Process Adherence

Maintain accurate records within RealPage OneSite Leasing & Rents.

Adhere to standardized centralized workflows and documentation requirements.

Support continuous process improvements as application volume and needs evolve.
Work Structure

This role will initially be fully remote. As the Centralized Services team continues to scale, there may be a future transition to a hybrid schedule that includes periodic in-person workdays or trainings as business needs require.
Required Experience
-
2+ years of experience in multifamily property management, administrative operations, or application processing.

1–2 years of hands-on experience with RealPage OneSite Leasing & Rents (New OneSite).

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, repetitive workflows without loss of accuracy.

Ability to work independently while meeting defined timelines and performance expectations.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a centralized or shared-services model.

Prior experience supporting leasing, screening, or application workflows at scale.

Bilingual / Fluent in Spanish.
