WHQ Operations – Delivery Assurance is part of this process and is expanding its team in Collierville TN.

The Carrier Residential HVAC (Residential Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) plant in Collierville, TN is primarily involved in the engineering, production, and assembly of residential HVAC systems. WHQ Operations Delivery Assurance team needs an additional Supplier Delivery Assurance Specialist to focus on material planning for our residential HVAC products at this facility. 

About this role

The Supplier Delivery Assurance Specialist works cross-functionally to support the timely shipment, delivery, and receipt of material for the Collierville, TN facility. The Supplier Delivery Assurance Specialist is responsible for Supplier Delivery Performance and is a key integrator between Materials Planning, Production Scheduling, Sourcing, Engineering, and Internal Material Logistics.   

This is a high-visibility role supporting supply continuity and factory production attainment.

This is an onsite role in Collierville TN.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure material availability to enable “Factory On-Time Delivery”
  • Deliver sustained “Clear-to-Build” levels
  • Monitor and improve purchase order execution
  • Work cross-functionally to support timely shipment, delivery, and receipt of material
  • Work as the key integrator between Materials Planning, Production Scheduling, Sourcing, Engineering, and Internal Material Logistics
  • Engage regularly with internal sites, external suppliers, and leadership
  • Support “On-site Supplier Recovery Plans”
  • Lead and manage Supplier Delivery Improvement Plans

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations, or Materials Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, or engineering
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Utilizing MRP/SAP Software
  • English oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Organized, attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities
  • Coordinate across multiple functions, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Personality defined by positivity, responsibility, integrity, accountability, and respect culminating in a strong work ethic
