Job Description

Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition.

We are seeking an experienced Auto Field Adjuster to support the Raleigh, NC territory. The ideal candidate will have prior auto field adjusting experience and an active adjuster license. This position operates in a competitive, high‑volume market and requires strong negotiation skills, particularly when working with repair shops. CCC estimating experience is preferred. This role primarily handles collision‑related claims and requires someone who can work independently while maintaining strong organizational and documentation skills. This is a field‑based position, and a company vehicle is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrates sound estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses

• Demonstrates basic understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company

• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within authority limits

• Applies sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices

• Builds functional relationships with both internal and external customers

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is:

Field Analyst III: $21.20/hr. - $34.69/hr.
Field Auto Consultant I: $$26.49/hr. - $40.99/hr.
Field Auto Consultant II: $28.03/hr. - $43.70/hr.
Field Auto Sr Consultant I: $35.82/hr. - $50.24/hr.
Field Auto Sr Consultant II: $37.98/hr. - $52.84/hr.

And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
