Description
We are looking for a Director, Order to Cash to optimize our current processes from customer set-up to order to invoice closure through cash applications. The goal is to value stream map the current process and identify improvement activities across the entire enterprise (which goes beyond Finance to include customer service, customer master, credit, collections, billing, and Treasury). A successful candidate is a demonstrated leader in the Order-to-Cash space within a Shared Service environment and can turn-around existing back-offices processes into a stream-lined organization with enhanced customer focus. Candidate has a proven history of building high caliber teams. Ideal candidate enjoys challenges while balancing day-to-day operations, while also identifying innovative ways to drive meaningful change.
As the multi-country process owner, in this role the candidate will be responsible for creating a seamless customer experience that is supported by efficient processes. They will be responsible for developing metrics to identify trends, process improvements, and strategic opportunities. They will partner closely with TBC Brands, NTW and Franchise leadership on initiatives to improve working capital. Candidate should have a history of influencing cross-functions partners and leadership as well as driving initiatives to completion. Candidate will report directly to the Sr. Director of Finance Operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and govern United States, Canada and Mexico revenue and receivables accounting processes with the appropriate people, policies and controls that will drive business growth while maintaining compliance with accounting regulations. This will require documenting multiple policies for TBC and ensuring alignment among Mexico and the U.S.
- Ensure that desk-top procedures are documented, assessable and reviewed annually across the organization.
- Value-stream map each part of the OTC process specific to Finance – billing, credit, collections, and cash applications to identify ideal state. Assist with up-stream and down-stream process mapping to ensure seamless hand-offs with the Finance organization.
- Lead monthly close and reporting processes for receivables and publish timely reporting & analysis to management & key stakeholders. This includes communication to the Sales Executive leads and recommending actions from a Legal and outside collection point of view. Follow through to conclusion to minimize P&L impact.
