About the role

POSITION GOAL

To perform unskilled work in routine security and fire patrol of the School District's Administration Center (K.C. Wright Building) and parking lots in a responsible and accurate manner.

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma.
  • One (1) year of successful experience in building security.
  • Qualified person who is able to recognize hazardous conditions, and make quick decisions.
  • Thorough knowledge of all types of fire extinguishers and how to use them properly.
  • Must possess some mechanical ability.
  • Must be able to identify authorized vehicles and persons designated to be on premises during his/her shift.
  • Must be alert, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Must be able to work well with others.
  • Must be able to follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Computer skills as required for the position.
