Pay Rate:

$89,000 - $118,600

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

The East Area Senior Analyst is a business partner with the Plant system PGM’s and a key contributor to the Plant system Management team.  The East Area Senior Analyst supports the financial activities of the Area by establishing and maintaining effective fiscal procedures and controls, reporting and analyzing performance, and partnering with Plant Management to plan and direct the actions needed to maximize the safety, engagement, and financial performance of the Area. They provide leadership to the finance staff within their Area to direct financial policy and procedures.

The East Area Senior Analyst position has responsibility for support of all plants within their identified Area.  This position will support a finance team consisting of 4 Plant Financial Analyst and Area Controller. 

• Strategic partner with Plant System PGM’s and key member of Plant system Leadership Team.
• Ensure the Area maintains accurate financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and business is conducted in compliance with established business and corporate policies, procedures, and practices.
• Ensure the assets and cash flows of the Area are properly managed and protected by maintaining an adequate system of internal controls.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of forecasts, the annual operating, strategic, and capital plans in collaboration with Controller.
• Manage Month End Closing tasks by working with the Area Finance Team; JV Entries, Inventory Valuations, Reconciliations, Variance Analysis
• Assist in the preparation of reporting and analysis of operating results to support the Area Controller.
• Assist with the Development and Documentation of Auditable Procedures for Area as needed.
• Maintain solid working knowledge of information technology systems and software applications, including transaction processing governance and general ledger impacts.
