About the Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer at Treering, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and maintenance of brand new and existing products for both end-users and internal operational needs. This is a technical hands-on role for a senior engineering leader. We are seeking a candidate with a strong computer science background who is very proficient at developing modern web applications. You will be responsible for developing high-quality software solutions that meet user needs and align with the organization’s business goals, mentor junior team members, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Development: Write, modify, and maintain code for software implementations using programming languages, services, frameworks, infrastructure, and tools specified by the team. Testing: Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of software components.Monitoring: Monitor application performance and stability metrics and collaborate with the team to optimize software for better performance, scalability, and deliverability.Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, assisting them in problem-solving and skill development.Architectural Design: Collaborate with the team to make architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security of software systems.Project Ownership: Take ownership of software development projects, from requirements analysis to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, product managers, designers, and quality assurance, to deliver software solutions that align with business objectives on schedule.Communication: Has strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts and collaborate with team members.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing best practices and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- A minimum of 5 years of programming experience.- Advanced knowledge of programming languages, including TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, MySQL, and PHP.- Proficiency with web development frameworks and technologies; ideally seeking candidates experienced in Angular development.- Proficiency in database design and management (SQL and NoSQL databases).Proficiency working with AWS as a cloud platform.- Experience with software deployment methodologies and technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organization and time management skills.- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
