40Summary:
The Retail Pharmacy Technician Supervisor assists the Retail Pharmacy Manager and/or Pharmacy Director in the management and supervision of all operational activities related to technician staff to develop a strong retail pharmacy team. The Retail Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, in coordination with department leadership, will coordinate all activities related to technicians that maintain and improve workflow, safety and efficiency to ensure quality distributive processes and services. The Retail Pharmacy Technician Supervisor participates in pharmacy leadership, technician education and process improvement committees to implement and improve technician processes and services.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or specialty pharmacy required. Hospital setting is preferred
- Previous Lead or Supervisor experience is preferred
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) and Texas State Board of Pharmacy required
