You have the power to shape things to make them better.</p><p></p><p>The primary objective of the position is to support existing diverse solutions of the operational business areas for Order to Cash business process flow specifically related to Order Fulfilment (Shipping Planning &amp; Execution), OPM Product Costing, Quality, Product and Raw Materials Inventory Management, and integration touchpoints related to those business process flows.</p><p>The position works in partnership with users of the solutions, Product Line Managers and third-party offshore support enhancing and implementing solutions within a complex technology ecosystem.</p><p></p><p>Major activities/Key challenges</p><ul><li>Work with operational location within Europe and North America where Alcoa operates to ensure their needs are fulfilled.</li><li>Provides direct support and develops relationships with users of solutions to the business.</li><li>Comprehends current condition, business needs and recommends cost effective changes for existing solutions.</li><li>Apply knowledge of shipping, costing, inventory, quality, and integration practices to deliver technology and integration solutions for the business process flows.</li><li>Performs solution design, implementation, and deployment plan for new solutions.</li><li>Develop and document requirements, including detailed specs, work estimates, timelines, deliverables, and milestones.</li><li>Testing: Investigating products, systems, and services to assess behavior and whether it meets specified requirements and characteristics. Validates systems, products, business processes or services to determine whether user acceptance criteria have been satisfied.</li><li>Release and Deployment: Applies internal ITAS processes to systems and functions required to make new and changed services and features available for use.</li><li>Provide direction to offshore technical development and support teams.</li><li>Stays informed with technology trends and innovations and collaborates with IS Architecture &amp; Governance, Integration, Infrastructure, Data Architects, Security, Data Privacy, and other groups to ensure right adoption of business solution used by these areas.</li></ul><p></p><p>Essential Knowledge &amp; Skills/Education</p><p>The ideal candidate possesses business acuity related to supply chain process and has delivered practical technical solutions to meet business requirements.</p><ul><li>Must have knowledge and practical experience with Oracle ERP R12: Oracle Order Fulfillment, Oracle Inventory, Integration techniques and methods.  Oracle Process Manufacturing and Costing a plus.</li><li>Must have experience implementing solutions.</li><li>Must possess experience working with business users.</li><li>Must have good English communication skills both written and verbal</li><li>Must have problem-solving skills.</li><li>Working knowledge of IT Service Management, IT compliance / Sarbanes-Oxley and data privacy regulations. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, Power Point, Share Point</li><li>Experience creating Power BI models a plus.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Logic Apps a plus</li><li>Flexible servicing the business across Europe and North America time zones.</li><li>Technical programming skills a plus PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Oracle Application FND architecture, Microsoft Azure</li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Technical degree: Information Systems Computer Science or Engineering with experience implementing IS Solutions</li><li>3 years application implementation &amp; support experience</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>About the Location</p><p>As an Alcoan you are part of a global team committed to advancing sustainability and delivering excellence and innovation.
