Purpose

 

Contributes to the overall success of the Identity & Access Management team, globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

 

What You'll Do

 

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the Bank - technology, security architecture, security advisory, fraud, compliance and business channel teams - to drive the design and architecture of new platform, including creating standard design patterns to be used across the Bank.
• Provide architectural design estimates to stakeholders for all new product feature requests.  Work with Product team and channel to ensure all documented requirements are address with the solution
• Work with product team to deliver on the strategic direction of IAM platforms
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

What You’ll Bring 
 

• University degree, preferably in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years in IAM space with 3+ years in an Architect Role.
• 5+ years of experience working within CIAM space (ForgeRock, Okta, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, etc.)
