About the role

Description

The Mathematics Department at Tulane University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position to begin in the Fall of 2025. This postdoctoral fellow appointment is for one year and can be renewed for a second year after a successful annual review. There is a possibility of an extension for a third year depending on the department’s funding availability and job satisfaction. The position carries a teaching load of three courses in two semesters.

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be expected to: (1) have a genuine interest in undergraduate teaching and course development; (2) teach a variety of introductory Mathematics and Statistics courses; and (3) collaborate in research with existing faculty and students in the Mathematics Department. Our faculty’s research span several areas in Algebra and Combinatorics, Applied and Computational Mathematics, Geometry and Topology, Number Theory, PDE and Analysis, and Probability and Statistics.
