Title

Talent Acquisition Specialist - Nursing

The Talent Acquisition Specialist provides professional support in the administration of all recruitment related functions. Responsible for full-cycle recruitment to include attracting, sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and other recruitment related functions as well as community initiatives for the Organization. Assists in the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of programs, policies and procedures. Monitors functions to ensure activities are performed in a manner, which meets the standards set for department, organization, and all certifying and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition (healthcare or service organization experience preferred) as a full-cycle Recruiter
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Hiring Managers and HR to create recruitment strategies and plans needed to fill BHG positions
  • Metrics driven; familiarity with recruitment and hiring metrics and reports
  • Strong ATS systems technology skills (preferably WORKDAY). Proficiency with spreadsheets word processing (Excel, Word, WordPerfect, Access)
  • Strong organizational skills required to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to provide for organized/effective systems and processes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to interact with people at all levels both within and outside of the organization. Experience dealing with sensitive situations and information.
  • The ability to recognize critical issues and appropriately react
  • Exceptional internal and external customer service; attention to producing outstanding results
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively as well as operate successfully in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong time management skills

Position Description:

  • Works collaboratively with hiring managers to understand department objectives and candidate requirements while providing input into the overall hiring strategy of the organization ensuring our teams consist of a wide variety of qualified individuals
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring trends and hospital system needs to ensure staffing goals are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind
  • Responsible for the development, communication, implementation, and administration employment functions of BMH, BHG, and subsidiaries. Ensures hospital procedures are followed according to standardized policies and procedures; provides counsel to hiring managers and employees on hiring related questions.
  • Collaborates with Hiring Mangers to develop effective sourcing and recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill or niche positions including employment advertising for the system by agreed upon time frames and cost
  • Experience with Recruitment metrics, data and other talent acquisition tools and measurements
  • Sources passive candidates through a variety of mediums not limited to networking, social media, referrals, internet search strategies, events and more
  • Responsible for cultivating relationships and working with Universities, Colleges, Community Colleges, Vocational Programs and Public Schools systems to create talent pipelines and/or training programs while educating students about various health care occupations
  • Contacts and works with educational institutions to recruit ‘Pre-Graduation’ candidates with offers in place prior to graduation date whenever possible. Attends career fairs statewide to recruit new graduates and inform students about current applicable opportunities.
  • Works with various community, educational and industry specific organizations to promote Bronson as an “Employer of Choice” to attract passive and prospective candidates and to advance the Employer Brand
  • Screens qualified candidates against position requirements and qualifications. Confirms availability, interest level, salary requirements, licensure (if needed) and relocation needs
  • Monitors expenditures and reports/resolves variances to ensure compliance
