Job Highlights Contract: Independent Contractor Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Client Time Zone: PST Overview Support a rapidly growing Amazon freight transportation company operating across a 500-mile radius from Las Vegas, NV. Work directly with the owner of a multi-company operation that prioritizes safety, compliance, and operational excellence while leveraging cutting-edge technology and AI driven processes. You’ll work directly with an executive who values efficiency, technology adoption, and streamlined operations across diverse business portfolios. Job Description Take on a critical role managing driver recruitment, onboarding, and compliance coordination for our expanding fleet. You'll be responsible for maintaining our driver pipeline, ensuring HOS/ELD compliance, supporting our management team and implementing retention strategies that keep our operation running smoothly. This position offers unique exposure to transportation operations, safety management, and the intersection of logistics and technology. Key Responsibilities- Manage candidate pipeline through all hiring stages.
- Conduct initial phone screens with candidates and coordinate interview scheduling with management team
- Track and verify candidate documentation (CDL, medical cards, driving records, background checks) in coordination with administration and management teams.
- Maintain recruitment metrics and pipeline reports in Google Drive/Microsoft Teams
- Fast-track qualified candidates to meet fleet expansion goals
- Screen and prioritize incoming communications based on established protocols
- Create detailed call summaries and follow-up communications via email
- Build and maintain comprehensive Excel databases and reporting systems
- Coordinate communications across recruitment, operations, and management teams
- Support compliance monitoring and documentation for driver HOS/ELD requirements
- Handle sensitive business information with complete discretion and professionalism
Requirements
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- MUST HAVE A WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
- 2+ years’ experience in HR / Recruitment
- Strong organizational abilities with talent for managing multiple priorities
- Proven ability with Excel, Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, database and data analysis
- Experience working with AI tools and automated systems is a plus
- Technical aptitude for quickly learning new software platforms and systems
- High level of discretion when handling confidential business information
- Ability to work in secure virtual desktop environments
