ROLE PURPOSEResponsible for a variety of warehouse processes that include, but not limited to, Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, Returns Processing, Improvement Processes, & Employee Performance. Must have a commitment to getting tasks completed promptly and a hands-on approach. Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate with different levels of management.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist inbound receiving team in daily freight returns from all remote inventory locations
- Help identify and sort items as they come off delivery truck into designated stacks - (Used/DOA/Not Used) for further processing
- Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot receiving discrepancies and execute decision on correct resolution method
- Learn and become proficient with company’s ERP software (Netsuite/JD Edwards) to perform daily system transactions associated with the Receiving process
- Replenishment of items into the repair shop each day in addition to making corresponding bin moves in system. Replenish items based on business needs
- Provide inventory management fundamentals while items are being unboxed, organized and move inventory onto pallets, bins and shelves, verify correct part numbers, and serial numbers for items in process
- Process items being Returned to Vendor by accurately documenting part numbers and serial numbers, packing items into boxes, and placing on pallets for shipment to vendor
- Provide support for the Pick/Pack/Ship process of items into our remote inventory locations
- Support shipping function by prepping all packed cartons by placing the item label onto the carton
- Prepare all cartons for shipment via FedEx Ship Manager software
- Verify and maintain accurate records on all items in process
- Follow and execute all procedures/policies
- Support and Maintain 5S activities in the work area
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness standards of the warehouse
- Responsible to adhere to all OSHA requirements (training will be provided)
- Will be required to operate non-motorized and motorized Material Handling equipment (training can be required)
- Extensive experience using RF devices/ERP application transacting inventory and understanding the corresponding financial impact of transactions
- Work with each warehouse supervisor to provide support for all departmental productivity/quality standards as outlined by manager
- Can be part of a team that must have coordinated work efforts to complete department and overall operational goals
- Must have excellent attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Education Level:· High school diploma or General Equivalent DiplomaQualifications: REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES · 2+ years prior Warehouse experience with Inventory Control processes· Basic warehouse knowledge· PC Skills - proficient with using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Microsoft Office Suite Application
