We are seeking a talented Lead Principal Engineer to join our AI/ML Platform and Solutions organization. In this role, you will design and lead projects end-to-end, architecting innovative and cloud-agnostic data solutions. You will collaborate with global, cross-functional teams from both Business and Technology domains to meet complex business demands. Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and creative problem-solving abilities are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter Senior ML Engineer to join our AIML Engineering team to help achieve this mission. This role will help shape the next generation of checkout at PayPal impacting over 400+ million consumers and 30+ million merchants worldwide by creating AI/ML foundations and capabilities that deliver a delightful and personalized shopping and checkout experience.

• Lead and mentor teams of ML Engineers and Software Engineers in building scalable AI systems that combine state-of-the-art models with robust engineering practices. 

• Design, Build, optimize, fine-tune Generative AI/LLM models/AI Solutions that can be integrated with numerous applications, support thousands of tenants, and operate at scale in production to support various Paypal AI Personalization initiatives  

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain Machine Learning models and build AI Products in production environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
