Title: Associate Director, Program Management, Global Operations (Inline Asset Program Management)
Location: Princeton Pike, NJ, Summit NJ, or Seattle, WA
Within the Cell Therapy Development and Operations (CTDO) division, the Portfolio Strategy and Operations (PSO) team focuses on the cell therapy pipeline as well as shaping product strategy throughout the lifecycle of a cell therapy asset. The organization encompasses the project managers, programs managers, portfolio management professionals and technical writing all of whom contribute to defining strategies for both early-and late-stage pipeline cell therapies enabling global regulatory approval and launches.
The Associate Director, Program Management plays an important role in organizing, managing, and communicating the portfolio of projects aligned to the CTDO goals and objectives for specific asset/s, as well as providing project management skills and leadership for Inline products.
This role will lead the execution of Global Operations (GO) brand team and management of the life cycle management (LCM) strategic portfolio and critical programs/projects. Assignments include operational responsibilities for governance and teams. Lead and direct complex, cross-functional, multi-site teams and workstreams, ensuring comprehensive planning and optimal execution of plans. Ensure interactions and timely collaboration with CTDO ecosystem, functional and site Project Management Offices (PMOs), key stakeholders and supporting functions. Proactively identify and facilitate risks, mitigations, resolution and escalation of issues, tracking and communicating status to stakeholders including leadership team. Leading program/projects and teams with passion, innovation, speed and accountability.
The successful candidate will be a demonstrated leader with the breadth of professional experience and the drive to work with both internal and external partners to define and implement effective project management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and execution of integrated, complex plans and teams for strategic CTO team programs & projects, tech transfer governance, or GO team program management and other critical initiatives as defined by CTD/O management. Programs/Projects may include, but are not limited to, those identified during the annual book of work (BOW) prioritization and refresh process, strategic run-the-business initiatives, transformation, due diligence, business continuity, product launches, major change management, Quality & Compliance, Operations, Product Development, Supply Chain, and significant regulatory activities.
- Leads GO team operations including recurring status meetings, reporting, risk tracking, steering committee meetings, and conflict resolution, lead GO team BOW and ad hoc projects as necessary.
- Develop and own execution plan for pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities aligned with asset/s strategy in partnership with the Product leader.
- Coordinate across GO sub-teams to align, organize and provide direction aligned with strategy.
- Prepare and manage governances until final decision and implementation.
- Leads and guides BOW for asset/s across CTDO based on prioritization for respective GO team/s.
