We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Product Sustainability Intern within our Product Development capability. This position reports to the Director of Product Testing, Regulatory, Compliance and will work in Elkhart, IN.

- Project overview: Screening of sourced products for PFAS chemicals.
- Project measurables: Review of sourced products and measured by % of sourced products information was obtained and % of sourced products which contain (or potentially contain) PFAS chemicals. These values may be different based on specific definition of PFAS used.
- Anticipated output of project: Determination of use of PFAS chemicals in Dometic products. Presentation of use and recommended actions to reduce or eliminate PFAS chemicals.
General Responsibilities
Screening of sourced products for PFAS chemicals.
Confirmation of operation and accuracy of test chamber
Creation of technical details (instruction manual, documentation, test procedures, etc.)

The ideal candidate for this role shall have the following qualifications and experiences:
Must be a current student or recent graduate of a university or college. Minimum of a rising sophomore level.
Coursework related to the internship role (e.g. Engineering, Physics, or similar technical classes)
Willing and capable of fabricating mechanical and plumbing assemblies and systems.
To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in tools or software relevant to the role (e.g., Microsoft Office, programming languages, AutoCAD).
Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability skills
A passion for product testing
Strong problem solving skills
