This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.

The HR Business Partner Specialist supports the HRBPs in various aspects of human resources management, such as employee data and system management, reporting, time and attendance, severance calculations, union-related topics, promotion and rotation processes, immigration cases and assignments, and tracking different employment types. Additionally, the tasks for this role include managing job profiles, coordinating LOA and Time and Attendance topics, responding to inquiries, supporting annual HR processes, and handling team meeting logistics.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates and partners with GBS (i.e., EC) on employee master data changes.
- Support the HRBP in ensuring that any reporting changes are correctly reflected in SuccessFactors (including matrix relationships, changes/department changes/matrix relationships).
- Act as the liaison to the time and attendance team and perform shift or overtime analysis as requested.
- Responsible for the severance calculation and manage the separation agreement process via DocuSign.
- If applicable, manage bargaining union-related topics as assigned.
- Support the HRBP with the promotion and rotation process.
- Responsible for entering all necessary information into the Fragomen system for any immigration cases.
- Support the tracking of Post Doc and other employment types as needed.
- Support the requests for job profiles and any required comparison analysis.
- Act as the key contact for general HRBP-related questions.
- Coordinate topics that come up related to LOA and Time and Attendance.
- Respond to employee-related questions as appropriate.
- Respond to inquiries from other functions that need to verify HR data or coordinate background checks, if needed (i.e., IC team).
- Support HRBPs with annual processes such as compensation planning, TDD, workforce planning, etc.
- Manage the team meeting agendas, notes, and capture and track action items.
- Support project work as assigned.
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of HR-relevant experience.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and data entry experience.
- Demonstrated high degree of accuracy, problem-solving, and problem resolution, as well as attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Customer-oriented.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
