54 is a sports and entertainment agency operating across five regions and ten offices: United Kingdom (London & Manchester), Europe (Sotogrande, Spain), MENA (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,  Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates), APAC (Vietnam, Singapore & Adelaide, Australia) and USA (West Palm Beach, Florida & New York). Strategic Advisory (Consultancy and Data & Insights), 2. Asset Optimisation (Operations and Commercial), 3. Activation & Engagement (Events and Marketing). ROLE OVERVIEW:

The intern will contribute to research, coordination, and presentation development across several fast-paced workstreams.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working within 54’s Consulting team, within a dynamic sports consulting environment
  • Conducting primary research on markets, competitors and matters related to sports, golf and economic trends
  • Contributing and delivering data analysis and/or visualisation of findings
  • Project management skills – organising and managing tasks
  • Support stakeholder outreach, including sports entities and/or other stakeholders
  • Assist with scheduling and organising internal and external calls, focus groups, interviews 
  • Taking minutes of meetings, delivering document management 
  • Help build slides in Pitch (presentation software similar to PowerPoint)
  • Take part and present ideas in workshops, inputting content and concepts to team
  • Develop skills and take part in financial analysis
  • Draft reports and content for client and internal delivery


SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/APTITUDES NEEDED:


  •  Interest in working in sports and willingness to learn
  • Good soft skills in communicating and taking on tasks
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to follow up independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good team player, clear communicator and team collaborator
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with hands-on experience in financial modeling
  • Comfortable with Google Suite and modern research tools
  • General commercial, business and sports awareness
  • A financial or business-related academic background is preferred
