What You’ll Do
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of our clinical team—helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they walk in. You’ll also support the dentist by ensuring procedures run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and preparing them for treatment
- Helping patients feel at ease and answering questions throughout their visit
- Setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining compliance with safety protocols
- Assisting the dentist using 4-handed dentistry techniques
- Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keeping operatories clean, stocked, and organized
- Scheduling appointments and post-op visits
- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records
- Assisting with payment procedures as needed
- Supporting general office operations as needed
What We’re Looking For
You’re a dependable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant who takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate well with both patients and teammates, and bring a positive, team-oriented attitude to the office each day.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- 1–2 years of experience as a dental assistant (specialty experience preferred)
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Attention to detail and reliability
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
- Active state radiology license (if required by law)
