Reporting into the Web Marketing Design Lead, you will be a part of a team that will design and build best-in-class marketing website experiences. In partnership with marketers, web strategists, designers, product owners, and technologists, this position plays a critical role in shaping our end to end experiences to guide, inform and educate our clients to make the best choices for their future financial security, supporting our participants to and through their retirement. You'll test your excellent interaction designs with real-world end users to learn and iterate better. You will create and champion experiences that are highly engaging and usable, while delivering pixel-perfect detailed designs with your team. Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Translate behavioral science concepts into designs, strategies and user experiences.
  • Design user-centered experiences by utilizing best practices that include conceptual diagrams and sketches, wireframes, visual mockups, and animated flows to communicate your ideas.
  • Advocate for and help your team members understand behavioral science design methods
  • Facilitate ideation sessions with designers, partners and stakeholders.
  • Validate ideas and designs using research, split A/B tests and product performance.
  • Develop and test hypotheses and research design with the web marketing team, partners and stakeholders.
  • Brainstorm new ideas, layouts and graphics, developing prototypes and models for testing and implementation.
  • Support the full design process from analyzing the problem, designing solutions and supporting through implementation.
  • Develop designs and experiences based on behavioral science concepts.
  • Effectively present and build consensus around concepts and designs.
  • Ensure that the web experience designs meet the needs of the end user and inform and align with client & business challenges/goals.
  • Collaborate with content, research, analytics, web strategy, client marketing and development to support and advocate for modern best practices for end-to-end design and delivery, such as design research, journey mapping, personas, storyboards, concept designs, wireframes, prototyping and final production designs for our end user experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with design application changes and industry developments.
     

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

Work Experience

  • 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

  • Deep familiarity with behavioral science concepts.

  • 5+ years of leveraging behavioral science to digital experiences.

  • Knowledge of UX best practices, interactive design principles, information, and experience architecture.

  • Comfort with design thinking process and framework, ability to workshop.

  • Marketing experience preferred, especially performance marketing.

  • Strong and demonstrated background in:  Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Miro.

  • Attention to visual details.

  • Adept in presenting creative work to executive-level stakeholders, highlighting the customer journey, and defending the design rationale.

  • Influential interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong ability to receive and synthesize feedback into delightful UX solutions.

  • Strong initiative and work ethic to meet critical project deadlines.

  • At ease working within a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative creative environment.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across the enterprise.

  • Experience with: HTML, CSS, Animation software a plus.
