We are seeking a Senior Privacy Counsel with an emphasis in privacy engineering and experience in counseling businesses on mitigating privacy risks, privacy by design principles, and privacy-enhancing technologies. This Senior Privacy Counsel will report to VIZIO’s Deputy General Counsel, collaborate with other attorneys in VIZIO’s Legal department, and help continue to support and improve the Company’s privacy program as it matures and develops new services and offerings for platform partners and users. About the Legal Department:

Our Legal Department operates at the heart of VIZIO/Walmart's business, providing essential legal support to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. We collaborate closely with various stakeholders to develop strategies and policies that safeguard the company’s interests. As a Senior Counsel, you will directly impact our goals by guiding privacy-related legal matters and enhancing our compliance framework.

What You'll Do:

• Provide expert counsel on privacy issues related to retail sales and e-commerce.

• Develop and manage internal compliance policies and practices for data governance.

• Monitor and update external privacy policies to align with business practices.

• Conduct and manage internal assessments of privacy controls.

• Coordinate external assessments with business stakeholders and partners.

What You'll Bring:

• Extensive experience with privacy laws and regulations, including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and data privacy.

• Proven ability to develop and implement compliance policies.

• Strong background in reviewing and updating privacy policies.

• Experience in conducting internal assessments and managing external reviews.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
