Construction Project Manager

Burrow Global has an immediate need for an experienced Capital Project Manager to take over the responsibility of managing a major expansion project at a client’s facility in Conroe. The ideal candidate will be able to seamlessly transition into a project that is currently partially complete.  Candidates will be working with engineering, procurement, and construction vendors developing this project. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Candidates will be responsible for scope, schedule, budget and execution of this project.

- Review completed engineering packages to identify gaps and initiate RFQs for required engineering packages.

- Evaluate all equipment and critical materials that have been ordered to date to identify any gaps.

- Develop a procurement plan to acquire critical equipment and materials that have not been ordered yet.

- Act as the primary interface with all construction contractors.

- Identify necessary construction contracts and initiate a bid process to solicit construction bids.

- Supervise daily construction activities in the field and provide direction as the owner's construction manager.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

- Proven experience in managing industrial construction projects in the $50 mm - $100 mm range is desired. Candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in a petrochemical environment. 

- Strong understanding of engineering and procurement processes.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work full-time, 40+ hours per week, on-site at the Conroe facility.
