Data Transformation/Cleansing Consultant

We are seeking a Data Transformation/Cleansing Consultant to join our USTRANSCOM (United States Transportation Command) program at Scott AFB in O'Fallon, IL. The Analyst/Consultant shall provide financial analysis across the USTRANSCOM enterprise with easy-to-use transactional and summary-level financial and operational information required for fact-based analysis and decision making. The Contractor shall provide services to support organization specific solutions and will be working with customers to support seamless integration of structured and/or unstructured internal and external data. The Contractor shall attend meetings, briefings, conferences, and workshops.
The Contractor shall create, maintain, and modify as needed the applicable data transformation and cleansing scripts that automate several routine processes within the IGC Teradata-based TCJ8 data marts and the ADVANA workspaces (Databricks). These scripts consist of Teradata Structured Query Language (SQL) statements and applicable languages such as Python, Scala, and R, and stored procedures that transform and cleanse data prior to it being used within the Cognos and ADVANA iQuery / QLIK. The Contractor shall conduct query performance troubleshooting and modify scripts forqueries that are executing abnormally slow to speed query process. The Contractor shall test all modified scripts to ensure they perform as required.

Required Skills/Experience

• Active Secret security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• 0-3 years experience in a related position, preferably supporting DoD agencies
• Experience is SQL, Python, Scala, or R
• Experience with Databricks
• Must be able to report to Scott AFB at least 3 days/week
