Opportunity

The Clinical Services Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across Beacon OHSS’s Occupational Health, Drug & Alcohol, and Administrative Services teams.

 

This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, compliant, and high-quality service delivery across all Alaska clinic locations. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Clinical Services Manager serves as the primary operational lead, aligning day-to-day activities with organizational objectives, quality standards, and client expectations.

 

This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a focus on operational excellence, compliance, and collaboration. The Clinical Services Manager partners closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical, HR, Finance, and IT, to streamline processes, drive performance improvement, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.

 

This is a full-time in-person role based out of our Anchorage location. Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

 

Qualifications

The person who holds this position will be required to not only work within a team, but is responsible for establishing and nurturing a team environment that facilitates smooth project delivery. The ability to solve problems and make concise and informed decisions is essential. A collaborative and confident personality will assist in facilitating your ability to interact with all key personnel thereby ensuring the effective delivery of contract requirements.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related field required (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive healthcare operations or clinic management experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or multi-department leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health, Drug & Alcohol testing, and/or clinical administrative workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, compliance, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management systems.
  • Ability to travel quarterly to statewide clinic sites.

Key responsibilities

Leadership and Oversight

  • Provide direct leadership to the Occupational Health, Drug & Alcohol, and Administrative Services teams, ensuring effective communication, accountability, and performance.
  • Guide and mentor managers/supervisors to achieve departmental goals and maintain service excellence across all clinics.
  • Serve as the central operational point of contact for clinical service lines, facilitating coordination between departments.
  • Promote a culture that reflects Beacon’s values, emphasizing patient care, safety, and operational integrity.
  • Support organizational growth initiatives through process improvement, scalability, and workforce alignment.

Operational Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of Occupational Health, Drug & Alcohol, and Administrative Services to ensure consistent, efficient, and compliant workflows.
