Job Description

Required Education:

Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a closely related field

Preferred Experience:

Experience with standard molecular biology, biochemistry, and epifluorescent microscopy techniques

Experience with Bacillus subtilis.

Prior experience with undergraduate research mentoring.

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience with effective digital documentation of research.

Good computer and communication skills.

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

**Position is contingent on funding availability**

Job Responsibilities:

Laboratory research (50%)

Planning and documenting of research (10%)

Oversight of undergraduate research (30%)

Performs other duties as assigned (10%)
