PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $78,200.00-$95,400.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $60,800.00 - $112,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage.  Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance.  We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees.  Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan.  Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Our Retail Market Development Specialists are assigned regions. This opening is for a region north of Seattle and travel will be required in areas from Lynwood to Bellingham.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Master BECU Products & Services: Develop a deep understanding of our financial offerings, policies, and consumer lending regulations to provide expert guidance to members.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams, business leaders, and community organizations to create new opportunities for membership growth and engagement.
  • Drive Market Growth: Identify new business prospects, support marketing initiatives, and enhance promotional strategies to expand BECU’s presence and impact.
  • Lead Community Engagement: Represent BECU at local and regional events, ensuring our brand is recognized as a trusted financial partner. Plan and execute community outreach programs that foster strong relationships.
  • Execute Business Outreach Initiatives: Oversee regional business development campaigns, partnering with leadership to set goals, measure success, and refine strategies.
  • Coordinate Events & Financial Education Seminars: Organize and manage logistics for community events, including registration, staffing, booth setup, promotional materials, and follow-up efforts.
  • Tailor Outreach Strategies: Understand diverse community demographics and ensure marketing materials resonate with specific audiences.
  • Enhance Social Media Engagement: Support and develop content for BECU’s social media channels, driving awareness and interaction with our financial education initiatives.
